couples Therapy
“There is always madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.”
Strategic, Relational Therapy for Modern Couples
Whether you're navigating communication breakdowns, betrayal, or mismatched intimacy, couples therapy can provide the tools and clarity needed to move forward—together or apart. As a native New Yorker and bicoastal psychotherapist, I bring an international lens to therapy that honors the complexity of culture, language, and identity in modern relationships.
Couples work with me to gain insight, improve connection, and rebuild trust with a clear, actionable, and emotionally grounded approach. My sessions are efficient, collaborative, and designed to address the questions many partners silently ask:
Can we repair what’s been broken?
Can we grow together, or is it time to uncouple with intention?
Are we sexually compatible? Can we find desire again?
From traditional partnerships to polyamorous constellations, and from newlyweds to long-term couples—this space is built to support your unique dynamic.
Is Couples Therapy Right for You?
If your relationship has been strained by any of the following, therapy can help:
Infidelity or betrayal
Fertility-related stress
Sexual dysfunction or lack of intimacy
Frequent conflict or emotional shutdown
Cultural clashes in international relationships
Questions about separation, divorce, or conscious uncoupling
Power struggles, parenting differences, or financial tension
Exploring ethical non-monogamy or polyamory
What to Expect
I typically recommend weekly sessions for optimal progress. Couples therapy begins with a comprehensive 60-minute intake to gather history, identify goals, and understand the relational patterns at play. Follow-up sessions are 50 minutes in length and may include both joint and individual components.
Our Process:
Uncover your relationship story
Identify strengths, pain points, and recurring dynamics
Set clear goals rooted in shared values
Develop a customized treatment plan
Gain practical tools to shift habits and foster connection
